Why not make it a family or team goal to save 50 ct a day in your normal weekly or monthly budget.

Hard to do? Get you children and the whole family involved.

A fast way is to start with “money finding”. Set your self a goal to save as family :50 cents each day.

Involve your children to bring up ideas.

This can be very encouraging for everyone. Lets agree as family to "find" money. Money we now maybe just loose or spend inefficient.

Let your children be the collectors of the money and put it into the saving box. ( see example )

Idea's to save money and educate your children at the same time?

Show them how much money they can save by just putting the lights off when lights are not needed. You need to do some calculation. When everyone helps, evaluate once a week and put the money in the saving box.

Some more ideas to start:

• Growing own tomato plants or other consuming products. Calculate together with your children how much it cost to buy 1  kg at the store and how much it will cost to grow your own.
• Create a small garden project, enjoy the healthy products or sell it and store the profit into the saving box.
• Offer car wash for your neighborhood and tell them about your project.
• loose weight by eating less cookies or drink less sodas.
• etc. etc.
